Today is the 1st Ski Day. I woke up at 6:00 am, brushed my teeth at 6:02 am, got dressed at 6:10 am, took the dog for a walk from 6:15 to 6:30 am, got breakfast at 6:35 am and took my things for the day. Once I had everything went with my dad in the car, we drove until the round about nearest to the train station. Afterwards I walked from the round about to the train station where the school gathered. I searched for my homeroom teacher Mrs. McCall so that she would know I was there and also so that I could get on the train. Once I was on the train I put my skis with the other skis, then I joined the 8th Graders, after joining the 8th graders I sat next to my friends. The train ride was a lot of fun. When we arrived in Zweissimen we walked to the ski place, after that almost all of us took a ski test that would allow the instructors to sort us into groups; I passed the ski test and went with the red group.
Then the red group went to Mid-Station with the gondola, after that we took another test for that we were separated in two groups, the slow group and the fast group, I took the test and was put in the fast group, with the fast people. Afterwards, my group and I skied down to the bottom station, and then took the gondola again to mid-station and then skied back down again to the bottom station. Then took again the gondola and went to the top station, followed by the skiing to mid-station and then to the T-bars, next we took the T-bar up until we had to get off the T-bar, and afterwards we skied down to the mid-station gondola which to top station. Then we took the gondola up to top station and went to eat at the top station restaurant. Afterwards we did the same things as we did in the morning.
On Ski Day 2 my ski group did the same as Ski day 1 at least that's what I think. Had a different ski instructor, called Martin.
SKI DAY 3
Hi, it's me again; Daphne Sirot skiing with the school, obviously there is no way I will get their eyes of my back, just kidding because I always like to go skiing with the school and my friends because it is a total different environment than it would be with family. Today, I went with my ski group to the St. Stephen Mountain and two other mountains whose name I do not remember. It was great fun because we went to three different mountains and we ate at a different restaurant.
Ski Day 4, was tiring and boring because I did not learn a single thing because it was the same as Ski Day 2.
SKI DAY 5
Today, the weather was bad when I say badly; I mean stormy weather all day long with the wind blowing in your face. Today again I had a different ski instructor which is pretty annoying if you ask me. My ski group and I went to Mid-Station with the gondola; afterwards, my group and I skied down to the bottom station, and then took the gondola again to mid-station and then skied back down again to the bottom station.
SKI DAY 6
Today, I went with my ski group to the St. Stephen Mountain and one other mountain whose name I do not remember. It was great fun because we went to two different mountains and we ate at a different restaurant than usual. Yes it was a great day today the sad thing is that someone in my group had broken their arm because of a bad ski fall, she is alright now but the thing is that she won't be able to get her ski badge unless there is one for breaking an arm while skiing.
SKI DAY 7
Today, we did mainly top station, we also had a race and I came in 4th place and two of my friends Amanda won 1st place and Julia won 2nd place. We got our ski badges if you are a skier, if you were a snowboarder you would get the snowboard badges it also depends in which level you are in which are Blue, Red or Black. Otherwise most of day was the same as Ski Day 2, at least for me.
